  • Convene a monthly meeting of the PC and carry out the purchase of goods and services required for academic, administrative and amenities requirements of the Institute and the Hostel by following the procedures and guidelines framed in the Purchase & Stores Manual.
  • Recommend revisions in the procedures of purchase, if necessary
  • Preparation and updating the list of suppliers and vendors of the Institute
  • Maintain stock registers for the goods purchased
  • Conduct yearly stock verification of the goods purchased in the Institute
  • Ensure transparency, accountability and fairness in the purchase procedures

  • Preparation of annual budget and report of BWC for consideration of the Finance Committee

The SC/ST Cell should function in accordance with the UGC Guidelines, 1998, to protect the interests of the students, faculty and staff members from SC/ST Community. The brief roles & responsibilities of this cell shall include,.but not limited, to the following:

  • Ensure that the students, faculty and staff (permanent, contractual and daily wages) get equitable access to resources and opportunities in the Institute,
  • Check that the lnstitute follows the policy of reservation for socially backward classes as per Govt. of lndia and Govt. of Maharashtra norms in admission, recruitment and promotions,
  • Circulate information about Govt. Resolutions / Orders / Scholarship and Freeship Schemes for welfare of SC/ST staff and students
  • Prepare an action plan, calendar and budget for conducting awareness programs and academic activities, such as higher education counselling, caree[ guidance, capacity building, remedial coaching, grievance redressal etc. for the overall development of staff and students from SC/ST Community with the help of respective sections/ departments of the lnstitute

The canteen Management committee shall be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of Institute Canteen. The brief roles & responsibilities of this committee shall include, but not limited, to the following:

  • Deciding a hygienic and healthy food menu for the canteen and making changes in it from time to time as per the suggestions of the students and staff'
  • Keeping checks on the cleanliness, hygiene, and quality of the food provided in the canteen'
  • Ensuring timely renewal of the live and license agreement of the canteen and shortlisting of a contractor by following the competitive bidding procedures'
  • Ensure upkeep and maintenance of the canteen infrastructure and facilities.
  • Facilitating redressal of the grievances related to the canteen food and infrastructure.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations of MCGM, FSSI (Maharashtra), FDA and all related Govt. / Statutory bodies.
