Code of Conduct for Faculty and Non-Teaching Staff members of the Institute

The Institute is a government-aided autonomous Institute established by the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Trust. The Institute follows the recruitment rules prescribed by the AICTE, Mumbai University and Government of Maharashtra.

All faculty and staff members are paid salaries as per the norms of the Government of Maharashtra through the grant-in-aid received by the Institute.

For all the faculty and staff members, the Code of Conduct prescribed by the State Government of Maharashtra, Maharashtra Civil Services (General Conditions of Services) Rules, 1981, is applicable.

In addition to this, the Mumbai University Act of 1974 is also applicable to teaching faculty members.
