About CCE
Centre for continuing education (CCE) is a well- equipped facilitating body to provide the support system for continuing education for faculty/support staff/students through outstanding resource persons having a wide spectrum of expertise in various fields of Engineering, Technology, life skills, management. CCE will initiate a wide range of activities by utilizing the resources of faculty as well as facilities available at the institute.

- To impart continuing education for faculty/support staff/students through well Qualified Faculty & Outstanding Resource persons, having a wide spectrum of expertise in various fields of Engineering, Technology, Interpersonal & Softskills, life skills & management.

- To provide high-quality continuing education and lifelong learning opportunities for professional development, personal achievement, career transitions and academic growth.
Objectives
- To assist faculty/support staff/ students in widening their knowledge base and improve their skills
- To Provide support and help to course coordinators in planning and materializing training programs in critical cutting edge areas.
- To improve the skills of a large number of faculty in various technical and non-technical institutions.
- To seek National and International partnerships in knowledge creation and its dissemination.
- To foster learning as a vehicle for innovations and growth.
Mode of Operations
CCE will coordinate the various continuing education programmes with the concerned departments and provide necessary assistance and infrastructure support to coordinators who are organizing programmes. Nature of support required by each coordinator will vary accordance with the content and context of the program. CCE will from time to time update its database of participants, Resource persons, Course kits required, available laboratory facilities. With the help of Head of Departments, Coordinators, Dean Academics list of courses will be prepared and offered for time to time. Coordinators will be providing a sophisticated list of facilities they sought from CCE well in advance.The courses to be provided can be characterized in the following categories:
- Sponsored courses: AICTE/ SPFU/ TEQIP
- Self-Supporting courses: The finance is realized from the participants
- Need- Based courses: Areas where upgradation of knowledge is required with the help of Industry and R & D establishments
- Online Courses: Recorded courses to be provided on Moodal of other institutes.
